1. Weld The Cracks
If you have cracks in the rim, we can use our welder to repair the damage. However, not all repairs are safe, which is why our experts will determine if it is a good idea to weld the metal. Should your wheel be unrepairable, we’ll help you find a replacement at a low cost.
2. Use a CNC Lathe
The CNC Machine is used for rim repair without causing the structural integrity to be compromised. With the use of this machine, we can fix the surface of the rim and smooth out the areas that were welded.
3. Apply a Powder Coating
After we fix the rim and complete the wheel repair, we’ll paint it using a powder coating for longer-lasting repairs. The coating will have to be cured in the oven at 400 degrees in order to reach maximum strength.
4. Polish Using a Vibratory Machine
To finish the process, we’ll place the wheel in a vibrating machine that will polish it to look smooth. Then, a powder clear coat is applied to seal the color in and provide another layer of protection.
